The Fall Clinical Conference gathers providers to hear local, regional and national experts, in both plenary sessions and symposiums, review basic concepts and emphasize recent advances in medicine, guideline implementation and disease management.

Alexander Garza, MD, MPH, is chief medical officer for SSM Health in St. Louis. David O. Barbe, MD, MHA, a board-certified family physician from Mountain Grove, Mo., became president of the American Medical Association in June 2017. He received his bachelor’s degree with honors in microbiology and his medical doctorate from the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Kansas affiliated program in Wichita, KS. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  


American Board of Internal Medicine: Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 18.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.


Nurses: The Department for Health and Human Services at Johnson County Community College is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 24.5 contact hours applicable for RN and LPN relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing Approved Provider Number: LT 0027-0549. Hours will be awarded for documented attendance only. Sign in and attendance at breakfast both days is required to receive the maximum contact hours.
